This is definitely a cake, no bar about it. It is a delicious cake, flavored and covered with almonds. Surprisingly when I cut into it the bottom in the center was a little under done, something I was not expecting. A family discussion concluded that using a glass Pyrex pan probably contributed to the under baked crust. The cake browned nicely and the toothpick came out clean.
